Indian Motorcycle made motors have been popular since World War II when Indian Motorcycle was manufacturing engines for aircraft and motor for boats, air conditioners and bicycles. The most prominent was Indian Scout motorcycle which was introduced in’20 and was in use till’39 when it was used by everybody, from police to motorcycle racer. Out of all the Scout motorcycle the most admired one was’28 101 Scout with low structure and better handling.
Indian Scout motorcycle had 37 cubic inch (596 cc) engine when it was initially introduced in’20. Later when popular American motorcycle Excelsior Super X was introduced with 45 cubic inches (745 cc) engine, Indian Scout also changed its engine to 45 cubic inch in’27.

Motorbike insurance is an essential condition for riding a motorbike or scooter as by law you must have at least third party bike insurance. This financially protects others from injury or damage to their bike caused by you, but does not cover damage to your own vehicle.
There are two other types of bike insurance: third party fire and theft and fully comprehensive. These are more expensive because they give you more coverage; however it is important to consider all the factors that are important to you rather than simply cost. Other factors may include coverage for foreign travel or the level of excess you want to pay.

Motorcycle jackets aren’t just made to look cool. They have many life saving protective features built in to them, at least the ones that are made for sport bikes. Most of your traditional leather jackets like Fonzie used to wear don’t offer much real protection in the way of impact. However they do protect your skin from road rash if you actually buy a quality leather jacket that is made from thick leather.

The Honda Fit took the market by storm in 2001. It is referred to as the Honda Jazz in Europe and parts of Asia, the Middle East and select other parts of the world. The name Honda Fit is primarily used in China, Japan and the United States. The 2009 Honda Fit uses Global Small Car Platform and is considered a subcompact vehicle.
Listed as an entry level model, the Honda Fit is getting rave reviews for its excellent fuel economy. Now in it’s second generation, Honda has given one of their most popular models a face lift so it seems.

When it’s time to buy motorcycle insurance, you can’t go wrong considering the following four factors before you shop. Insurance companies pretty much all think alike. And these are the risk factors that they always consider when they figure your rates.
1. Driver age and experience — your age and driving experience is already set. But be aware that younger and less experienced drivers inevitably pay more for their insurance. Driving experience includes your accident and claims records. Fewer accidents and fewer claims mean lower insurance costs. This is one area you do have control over as time goes on.
